Position Terms:

• Full-Time Permanent Role
• Working in the office 5 days a week
• Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 plus super (depending on experience)

The Role:

As a Senior Event Producer, you will play a critical role in leading and executing exceptional events from concept to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring seamless delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects. Acting as the central figure in event execution, you will manage client relationships, coordinate internal teams, and ensure operational efficiencies. This role requires strategic oversight, hands-on event production, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will work closely with the wider production, creative, and account management teams to ensure smooth execution, resource management, and financial success. Your expertise in large-scale events, combined with your ability to manage budgets, teams, and client expectations, will be pivotal in driving the agency’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all elements of event production, from brief through to execution.
• Develop and execute strategic event plans, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Producers, Associate Producers, and Coordinators.
• Drive creative ideation and execution of high-profile events that leave a lasting impact.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
• Source and manage third-party suppliers, ensuring seamless event logistics and execution.
• Ensure smooth workflow processes across production and creative teams, including resource management and onboarding of freelance staff.
• Maintain financial control over projects, including budget forecasting, P&L management, and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with Account Leads and senior management to scale delivery capabilities and improve production processes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring innovation and excellence in all event productions.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Senior Event Producer with a strong background in event production within an agency environment. You will be a natural leader, capable of managing complex projects and high-performing teams, while maintaining strong client relationships and financial oversight. Your ability to think creatively, solve problems under pressure, and deliver outstanding events will set you apart.

• Proven experience in event production within an agency.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams of Producers, APs, and Coordinators.
• Expertise in planning and delivering large-scale events with a strong strategic and creative approach.
• Excellent client management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution.
• Strong budget management and financial acumen, including P&L experience.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
• Adaptability to work outside core hours when required.
• Must be comfortable working in the office 5 days a week.
