The Company:
An exhibition and conference B2B Agency based in Sydney are looking for a great new Sales Manager to join their Events and Delegate team. The company puts together sensational conferences and has two distinct divisions within their team and this role will manage the B2B sales for major conferences.
Position Terms:
- Full-Time Permanent Role working 3 days in the office and 2 from home
- Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 plus super plus comms
The Role:
The role of the Sales Manager is to find, maintain and grow revenue across the agencies products and services to a specified portfolio of partners. The Sales Manager must represent the broader business and will be responsible for an individual target, call rate and meeting quota with the key stakeholders within their client base. The core objective of the Sales Manager is to promote the brand offering to a specific portfolio of clients that includes a mix of both new and established clients (50/50).
Key Responsibilities include;
- Manage the client portfolio and drive the following outcomes:
- Reduce revenue churn and maintain strong client relationships
- Grow client portfolio and spend and increase market share
- Find new potential clients and revenue
- Be present in market with calls, face-to-face and virtual meetings
- Contribute to delivering a high level of partner delivery and overall satisfaction
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of their offering
- Research consumer needs and identify how the company's solutions address them
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals and forecasting
- Develop skills continuously and ensure effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
- Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships
- Collaborate effectively with the project team (including conference producer and operations manager) to ensure all elements of event development are delivered in a timely manner
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the B2B sales space. Experience in sponsorship management and budget management is highly desirable. Confidence to work autonomously is essential for this role.

- Proven negotiation skills
- Proposal writing skills
- Excellent communicator - both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at any given time
- A team player with a can-do attitude

- Ability to work from the office 3 days a week
