The Company:
A wonderful events supplier is looking for a National Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This supplier is well known for their modern and stylish equipment which they hire out to venues and events right across Australia.
Position Terms: - Full-time permanent role
- Working 5 days in the office
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:
The National Account Manager reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creative event solutions to national and large-scale clients. The National Account Manager will also be responsible for following up warm leads, attending client meetings, and identifying new potential clients.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Liaise with clients on event details and requirements with outstanding customer service.
- Offer event design concepts utilising existing & new product ranges.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and other industry stakeholders.
- Day to day management of allocated client portfolio.
- Perform site visits and client meetings, hosting clients in the Showroom.
- Increase client and job profitability through sales techniques and efficiency in administering orders.
- Define and target potential event industry clients.
- Book and attend regular client meetings with targeted clients.
- Seek out and respond to various industry related Request for Tender applications to a variety of major events and organisations, with the aim to increase supplier status and grow business opportunities.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting as required.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have exceptional account and client management skills, with a key eye for event design. Experience working as an Account Manager within an Events Supplier is highly desirable.
