The Company:

This sensational Exhibition and Events Company organises and creates large scale exhibitions, trade shows, summits and more. The company thrive themselves on being the connector between buyers and sellers and have a great portfolio of events. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to going their team and work on one of their flagship events. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role based on the Gold Coast, 4-5 days in the office 
  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:

The Marketing Manager will report into the Head of Marketing. This role will be responsible for managing the marketing for a major exhibition event in their portfolio. Working with the internal team this role will be responsible for generating exhibitor and sponsorship interest as well as driving visitor acquisition, attendance and retention for this high profile event. 

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Strategy: Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Event Director to develop and deliver the marketing strategy and annual plan for your event
  • Campaign: Execute data driven, multi channel marketing campaigns for your event in line with the marketing goals and brand guidelines
  • Audience Development: Constantly look for ways to grow the audience database using demand generation, data acquisition, partnerships and other creative methods 
  • Optimisation: Identify ways to segment audiences and build communication triggers to increase engagement and drive lead generation, event registrations, and visitor attendance
  • Copywriting: Be the voice of your event by writing compelling and persuasive marketing copy that inspires action 
  • Create An Impact: Manage the creative/design process for marekting material, including update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new material 
  • Partnerships: Identify, engage and collaborate with event partners (associations, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, etc) to develop cross promotional campaigns to grow your database and boost visitor attendance 
  • Be The Authority: Own your brand and be the go-to and primary point of contact for all customer and market insights, and marketing activities for your event
  • Goal Setting & Measurement: Set short and long term goals with Head of Marketing, measure success, report and iterate across marketing channels to ensure we're surpassing targets 
  • Share Wins and Takeaways: Communicate accurate and timely weekly reports on the performance of your marketing initiatives to show team and management
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Manager with experience working in exhibitions and / or trade shows. You will be experienced in multi channel B2B marketing campaigns and have experience in creating highly effective and well thought our marketing plans.  
  • Experience using EDM software 
  • Experience using website software such as Wordpress
  • Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
  • Highly organised, can multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Team player with excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high accuracy level
  • Experienced in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience executing Digital Ad Campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google) is highly desirable
  • Prior experience with Google Analytics is highly desirable
