The Company: A major supplier in the events space are looking for a new Events Logistics Manager to join their team. This role will be based in Perth and will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the logistical coordination of events. The Supplier works with high-profile clients to deliver large-scale outdoor events for Universities.

- Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role: The Events Logistics Manager will report into the State Manager, and will oversee the scheduling and management event equipment. The role will ensure the seamless preparation and installation of events across Perth.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Manage all aspects of logistics services, including resourcing, stock control and warehouse management.
- Lead, manage, and develop an events crew, ensuring satisfactory training and timely on-site installation.
- Manage the scheduling of event crew for event installation and dismantlement.
- Supervise on-site operations.
- Review and approve staff timesheets daily, and then submit approved weekly staff timesheets to accounts for payroll processing.
- Ensure all areas are properly set up, including signage, equipment, infrastructure, and staff allocation.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound stock shipments, including receiving and distributing stock.
- Support the development and implementation of improvements and innovative solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and resolve queries.
- Participate in post-event debriefs, addressing client feedback and implementing improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards across all operations.
The Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience working within the events industry in a logistics role, ideally with experience in warehouse management and crew management. Exceptional communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
- Experience leading and managing event crews, with a strong focus on people management and development.
- Strong logistical and event management expertise.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisation and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Confidence and composure under pressure, with problem-solving and conflict resolutions abilities.
- Hands-on approach, actively participating in event execution and logistics.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations.
- Ability to work from the office 5 days a week.
