The Company:

This wonderful creative events agency is known for their exciting ideas and meticulous production. They deliver momentous live experiences for their clients. This agency works with a lot of NFP clients but also works with major clients in other sectors across Australia. They are looking for an Events Coordinator to join their growing team. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 from office
  • Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 plus super plus bonuses
The Role:

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the delivery of live projects and events alongside senior members of the team. The Events Coordinator is responsible for a range of administrative duties, assisting with developing budgets and timelines, creating client invoices, monitoring budgets and timelines, managing third party suppliers, uploading and sending content to print, liaising with clients, and delivering events onsite. The Events Coordinator will also be responsible for posting to the Agency's social media accounts, including TikTok.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Work closely with the Directors brainstorming ideas and developing the creative of event concepts
  • Research and report trends and ideas on an on-going basis
  • Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings / WIPs / contact reports for clients and team
  • Assist teams in the task of developing and implementing projects and events;
    • Client liaison for duration of projects and events
    • Timeline and milestone planning
    • Liaison, coordination and implementation of creative
    • Liaison and coordination with production and build teams
    • Managing ticketing for a broad range of events
    • Managing websites for a broad range of events
    • Liaison and coordination of third party suppliers
    • Project and event budgeting
    • Assisting with the smooth running of event, including bump-in and bump-out
    • Weekly social media posts to market the Agency
    • Filming videos and creating content for social media purposes
    • Assist in managing day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects and events within scope and budget
    • Assist with supply of schedule, budget, and scope considerations for all production elements
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within an events agency, either in an internship or paid position. A recent graduate who is a go-getter and has a passion for creating creative experiences for clients is also ideal. Experience with social media marketing and/or an understanding of social media trends is highly desirable.
  • Clear written and oral communication skills
  • Project/event management experience (client and supplier management, and budgeting) is highly desirable
  • Experience using TikTok and has an understanding of content that thrives on the platform
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Solid computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Powerpoint, Work & Excel)
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for events when required
