The Company:

This Hospitality Group is a power house in the space, there amazing team work tirelessly to plan and execute events, tailored to the clients needs with precision. They own multiple venues in Melbourne and this role will work across multiple venues across Melbourne working on a range of events.

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Working 5 days a week in the office
  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 plus super
The Role:

The Event Producer will report to the Senior Event Producer. The Events Producer role is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional events (80% corporate, 20% weddings), as well as for managing and developing client relationships from file handover to event day, whilst contributing to product growth and innovation. The Event Producer needs to be a cohesive link between the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless events are delivered.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Take lead on coordinating and producing events
  • Facilitate every client request where possible, checking operational concerns with management where necessary
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with a focus on generating repeat business
  • Coordinate all third party suppliers, providing the requirements necessary to understand expectations when arriving and working on site
  • Provide accurate event orders generated in Priava outlining the details of the event for the operations teams
  • Be present and heavily involved on events with large production elements working closely with operations to execute
  • Preparation of permit and licensing and documents
  • Production of major events both onsite and offsite as requested
  • Provide sales support in the absence of, or when the business demands, to the Client Relationship Managers
  • Facilitate innovative site inspections and planning meetings that inspire clients to book while selling goods and services to maximise profit
  • Build and manage existing client relationships where there is an opportunity to upsell and generate repeat business
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience managing corporate events within a venue or hospitality environment. Excellent client management and time management skills is essential for this role.
  • Experience managing wedding clients, suppliers and then ensuring delivery on the day
  • That attention to detail focus that every wedding needs, with a combined operational understanding of delivering on what's needed to ensure a great day for a bride and groom
  • Be continuously client/customer focused
