The Company:

A major supplier in the events space in Perth are looking for a new Events Coordinator to join their team. A interesting role that combines the ability to be forward client facing but also manage stock and warehouse requirements as well. The supplier has offices right across Australia and this position will be based in a team of 6 in the Perth office. 

Position Terms:
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Working full-time in the office
  • Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus super depending on experience
The Role:

The Event Coordinator will report to the National Operations Manager and will be responsible for handling all the stock and warehouse management for the supplier, ensuring the stock is maintained and right amounts to go out to events. As well as then being client facing on site, working with clients, handling VIPs, managing a team of casuals on the day for installations and requirements. 

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Managing the warehouse stock, planning and preparation for the events 
  • Working with clients to ensure all their requirements for what they need on the day are met 
  • Manage inventory of stock to ensure that you can meet clients requirements, handling upkeep of the stock when required as well
  • Oversee international and interstate deliveries of stock when required
  • Handling the planning for the events on site including stock requirements, casual labour and crew, bump in and bump out 
  • Managing the installation of product on the day with the team and working with the client to ensure all needs are met 
  • Ensure all casual staff are on site, briefed and ready for the event on the day 
  • Ensuring management of resources on the day so all client needs are met and equipment is handled well 
  • Manage team needs on site at events 
  • Manage stock levels on the day as well as ensuring all stock meets the requirements of the job for the client 
  • Handle reporting of everything post event 
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a great positive outlook, be able to work with everyone from VIPs to casual crew and clients and manage all requirements for on site events. With experience managing event on site, handling bump in and out requirements as well as experience managing teams of people this will be a great role to further your career! 
  • Bubbly personality and a great can do attitude to solve problems on site 
  • Ability to plan and manage events from a supplier standpoint
  • Previous experience managing stock and handling stock requirements seen as a positive
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving and lateral thinking skills
  • Ability to travel for events when required and work long days on site when needed 
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • This role does require someone to work from the office 5 days per week and then be on site for events
