The Company:

This rapidly expanding B2B Events Agency has a growing international presence are looking for a Conference Producer to join their Sydney team. This Agency develops, organises and delivers corporate events, including roundtables, conferences and summits.

Position Terms:
  • Full-Time Permanent Role
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home
  • Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus super plus bonuses
The Role:

The Conference Producer will report to the CEO and will play a pivotal part in creating and curating engaging conferences that empower senior leaders globally with the knowledge, connections, and resources they need to build extraordinary businesses. This role will be responsible for the entire conference lifecycle, from researching relevant topics to validating and executing the agendas to ensure the event’s success.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Topic Research and Validation: Conduct extensive research to identify relevant, timely, and high-impact topics for each conference, consulting with industry experts, potential attendees, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with current trends and needs.
  • Program Development: Curate and build the event agenda by selecting the most relevant speakers, panelists, and sessions, ensuring a diverse and engaging program that adds value for attendees.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, speakers, sponsors, and partners to ensure their participation and contribution to the conference.
  • Content Creation and Management: Work closely with speakers and subject matter experts to develop and refine session content that addresses key challenges and opportunities in the industry.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee all aspects of conference production, from initial planning and topic selection to execution and post-event analysis. Ensure the smooth running of sessions, from speaker coordination to audience engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor events to ensure Rise Network conferences remain at the cutting edge and meet the evolving needs of leaders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to drive event success, from content development to post-event feedback and community engagement.
  • Event Promotion Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to help develop promotional materials, ensuring key event messages and topics resonate with target audiences.
  • Post-Event Feedback and Improvement: Collect and analyse feedback from speakers and attendees to assess the impact and success of the conference, and implement insights to improve future events.
The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Conference Producer with a passion for research and content development. The candidate will be highly organised, proactive and skilled at identifying trending topics and industry needs that resonate with audiences.
  • Proven ability to research, validate, and produce successful conferences and events.
  • Strong ability to conduct research on trending topics, industry needs, and audience interests.
  • Experience creating compelling content for conferences, including collaborating with speakers and experts to develop relevant and high quality presentations.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry players, stakeholders, and community influencers.
  • Solid understanding of the technology sector and emerging trends that can shape conference programming is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with speakers, sponsors, and attendees effectively.
  • Ability to evaluate feedback and event performance data to drive improvements for future conferences.
  • Ability to travel internationally for events when required.
  • Ability to work from the office 3 days a week, located in Sydney CBD.
