The Company:
This full-service bespoke creative events agency prides themselves on creating, designing and producing world-class events and experiences for their clients. They manage a wide variety of events and are looking for an Associate Event Producer to join their growing team.
Position Terms: - Full-time permanent role
- Working full-time in the office
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super (depending on experience)
The Role:
The Associate Event Producer will be responsible for the management and execution of client events, from initial brief to post-event reporting. The Associate Producer will be leading event projects, as well as assisting the Senior Event Producers with the management of more complex events and projects. This role will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Establishing and developing strong client relationships, maintaining constant communication with them on event progress and updates
- Attending internal and customer briefings and/or creative ideation sessions regarding specific projects.
- Conducting team and client WIP meetings to ensure everyone is staying on track
- Creating and maintaining Critical Path, in-depth run sheets, and production schedules
- Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials.
- Supporting senior producers with administrative tasks, such as creating proposals, contracts, and production documents.
- Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the event planning process.
- Maintaining effective event budget management tracking
- Contributing to overall idea generation of the event design
- Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, on strategy, and exceed client expectations
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have experience working as an Associate Producer, Event Coordinator or Production Coordinator looking for their next role within a small, but mighty, creative agency. Experience working across different types of events is highly desirable, and experience managing client relationships is required. A background in managing and producing events within a creative agency is essential.
- Have a strong background of working in across multiple event types, including brand activations
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Exceptional client management skills
- Advance skill level in the use of all MS Office applications
- Strong team player, outgoing personality
- Ability to think on your feet
- Ability to work autonomously, but also as part of a team
- Excellent risk management skills
- Ability to break new ground through initiative and commercial acumen is highly desirable
- Ability to travel domestically for events when required
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Ability to work in the office 5 days a week, located in inner Sydney suburbs.
